chris, dont be so bitter about my blog. It is very successful blogsite which you cannot do on your own. More than 12,000 hits were recorded *everyday* on RidorLIVE.com -- which can say a lot by itself.

Even Raymond Luczak cannot muster such energies that I got things together from day one. I read Raymond's books -- it is good to put animals to death, really.

Not only that, please try to remember that Raymond wants to collect the stories and gather the profits for *himself*. He even asked me via email whether if I can contribute the essay and I asked if there is any compensation coming out of this, he declined to share the information.

Let's face the music, it is dog eat dog world.

I wouldn't call the trash that Ridor sprouts out as writing. But otherwise, I agree with Philip. Lots of other quality writers out there. Raymond isn't the only one. From his comments above, he appears to think he is, which is a off putting.

My congratulations to Raymond Luczak.

In regards to Noel's question -- actually, there ARE many other Deaf GLBT writers out there but they don't appear to publish as frequently. Rob Roth had a piece published in the book Queer Crips. Ellen Roth (not related to Rob) published a piece in Oprah Magazine recently and I know Drago has had stuff published all over the place. Not to mention the tons of Deaf GLBT bloggers out there like Ridor aka 'Deaf Gay Militant' who are writing all the time on misc. issues. Those come immediately to mind and I know there are many more.

Raymond Luczak is the most published. He's a serious writer dedicated to the craft. But to say that he's the only one would be a gross misstatement. There are many others who are just not as widely published but are also writing about their Deaf GLBT lives and experiences. Hopefully, we will see more of them published in the near future.

Hello Noel:

Nope. That's why I'm editing the anthology EYES OF DESIRE 2: A DEAF GLBT READER to help highlight other Deaf GLBT writers. :-) If you're Deaf and GLBT, please consider writing a story for the book. Look up http://www.raymondluczak.com/eod2/cfs.html for more information. The *final* deadline is March 31, 2007.

Thanks.

I'm curious. Are there any other deaf gay/lesbian writers other than Ray? Or is he the only one?
