Jury begins deliberating life or death for Wright

Jurors began their deliberations shortly after 11 a.m. in the death penalty phase of Daphne Wright’s murder trial.

Jurors are deciding between life in prison or death by injection.

If the jury opts for the death penalty, Wright would become the first woman on South Dakota’s death row.
