		<description>I think that reason terps are not hanging with deaf community is usually they have to follows code of conducts with the interpreting agencies in some states. I would preferred all interpreters to go the deaf community and do least 2 hrs a week to benefit the experiences with deaf consumers outside legal, or business-related. As you know signs do changes overtime as we get older or possible that terps move state to states. Some signs are different from south as here in north, as well west to east.</description>

		<description>Very interesting.  I&#039;ve always been under the impression interpreters don&#039;t like to socialize with us deaf.  Even gay ones.  Only the new awkward signers.  They take advantage of us to learn asl and then when they become interpreters they stop socializing with us.</description>
