The show is fun...playful and thought-provoking, that bring up a few genuine issues and some not so, that face everyone whether or not they can hear the world around them. I think she has a remarkable & positive impact on all. I’ve watched Marlee’s acting career over the years, as she went from the female lead in Children of a Lesser God (for one) to her current role in The L Word….and she has grown confident as an accomplished deaf actress in today’s Hollywood with all of its real or imagined issues in portraying the deaf/queer community.
The show is fun…playful and thought-provoking, that bring up a few genuine issues and some not so, that face everyone whether or not they can hear the world around them.

I agree with MM about that. We need to protect and nuture those young generations to become future leaders of our Deaf Queer community/family.
