California Supreme Court Rules for Fairness!
Today the California State Supreme Court ruled in favor of fairness and
has struck down anti-gay marriage legislation, becoming the second
State in the country to do so!!!
Victory parties are going on throughout the State tonight:
San Francisco
When: 5 PM
Location: The Center, 1800 Market Street
San Luis Obispo
When: 5 PM
Location: Luis Obispo County Court House Steps on Monterey Street
Los Angeles
When: 7 PM
Location: West Hollywood - Intersection of San Vincente and Santa
Monica Boulevards
Due to the last minute nature of these celebrations, ASL Interpreters
have not been secured. (Interpreters wishing to volunteer, please
do!)
Check with your local LGBT Center or organizations for other victory
parties/events in your area. Feel free to post them on this news blog.
