I’m so glad to see this. I also come from a Jewish family and it has been tough finding the guts to tell them about me. I hope they’re love for me is as unconditional as your family’s love was for you. Thank you for being brave and sharing your experience. I hope to meet you someday!

Hi Leslie: I always knew, but am so happy you are speaking out. There are hundreds of thousands deaf individuals that are struggling with their identities all over America. Upon seeing your “coming out” speech you will help make them feel comfortable about who they are. I know the feeling and have seen many struggling to come out. Thank you for such a nice speech. It’s inspiring.
