BLeGIT Queer Deaf and Interpreter Social

This summer, the first national event for queer interpreters is taking place in San Francisco. BLeGIT, the national member group for that community, is hosting an all-day workshop on August 3rd in downtown San Francisco. The night before, August 2nd, we will host a free event- a Queer Deaf and Interpreter Social- at the hotel. No tickets or registration is required. We are hoping many local people will join us to welcome folks from all over the country.

When: August 2nd, 2007
Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Where: The Downtown Marriott Hotel- 55 4th St., San Francisco, CA (same location as the RID Conference)

Free and open to all!

If you are also interested in attending the BLeGIT Pre-Conference Symposium on August 3rd, more information can be found here. It’s not too late to register at the door.
